To effectively utilize the Shiftbulk platform, access the navigation tree on the left side of the interface. Click on the different components in the tree to interact with them, view their properties, and make adjustments as needed. This user-friendly menu ensures efficient and seamless management of your conveyor system components.




Hubs and Bushing

The pulley hub is a point of connection between the shaft and the end disk or pulley wall. Types of pulley hubs used in bulk material handling are provided below.



Type Description
Flanged system with a shallow taper angle. Used as friction connections.
Flangeless Bushing These bushing are installed with cap screws, using shallow taper angles. The cap screws engage into treaded holes on the hub.
Keyless locking assemblies Tapered locking assemblies make use of cap screws tightening into a 2 tapered lock rings these connect the shaft to the hub of the pulley.
Flanged Systems Tapered flanges which insert into the pulley end disk , the flanges are then bolted ( tapped end disk ) into the pulley end disk.
